TECHNOCRATS PLASMA SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED was born as "Technocrats" in the year 1990 as a partnership company by Mr. Arun Kumar who was working as a Scientist for "BARC".

Starting from the scratch in the real sense of the term, a new generation, Air Plasma Cutting Machine with Thyristorised Current Control was introduced in the market.

In order for cutting 150mm thick steel was awarded by M/S Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory after they had evaluated all other options including Physical trials.

Based on the response & suggestions received from customers; Plasma Welding, Micro Plasma Welding & range of energy efficient welding equipments were developed for MMA, TIG, AC/DC TIG, MIG/MAG & Submerged Arc Welding Applications.

"Technocrats Plasma Systems Private Limited" was first to introduce all Indian IGBT Based Inverterised Machines in the country in the year 1996. Automation division of Technocrats Plasma Systems was started in the year 2007.
